چکیده

Different kinds of instabilities (CDW , SDW , SS) in the 1D Hubbard model with pair-hopping interaction are investigated using an approximate Bethe-Salpeter equation. The study is performed at any density of electrons and for arbitrary values of the model parameters. In the absence of the on-site interaction, no transition occurs at half filling for any finite negative pair-hopping parameter, in agreement with recent results; our calculation suggests that the Penson-Kolb model (t,W ) with | W/t |< π/ sin kF behaves qualitatively like the Hubbard model (t, U). Phase diagrams of the Penson-Kolb-Hubbard model (t, U,W ) at various densities are presented. Mri-phy/p9805046 Exactly Solvable Fermionic N-chain Models

Motivated by the problem of N coupled Hubbard chains, we investigate a generalisation of the Schulz-Shastry model containing two species of one-dimensional fermions interacting via a gauge field that depends on the positions of all the particles of the other species. The exact many body ground state of the model can be easily obtained through a unitary transformation of the model. The correlati...

Breakdown of the Luttinger sum - rule at the Mott - Hubbard transition in the one - dimensional t 1 − t 2 Hubbard model .

– We investigate the momentum distribution function near the Mott-Hubbard transition in the one-dimensional t1 − t2 Hubbard model (the zig-zag Hubbard chain), with the density-matrix renormalization-group technique. We show that for strong interactions the Mott-Hubbard transition occurs between the metallic-phase and an insulating dimerized phase with incommensurate spin excitations, suggesting...

Bound states in the one-dimensional two-particle Hubbard model with an impurity

We investigate bound states in the one-dimensional two-particle Bose-Hubbard model with an attractive (V > 0) impurity potential. This is a one-dimensional, discrete analogy of the hydrogen negative ion (H−) problem. There are several different types of bound states in this system, each of which appears in a specific region. For given V , there exists a (positive) critical value Uc1 of U (the o...

Effect of Fibonacci modulation on superconductivity.

We have studied finite-sized single band models with short-range pairing interactions between electrons in the presence of diagonal Fibonacci modulation in one dimension. Two models, namely the attractive Hubbard model and the Penson-Kolb model, have been investigated at half-filling at zero temperature by solving the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations in real space within a mean-field approximatio...

Ferromagnetic Domain Wall Ground States in One-Dimensional Deformed Flat-Band Hubbard Model

We construct a set of exact ground states with a localized ferromagnetic domain wall and an extended spiral structure in a quasi-one-dimensional deformed flatband Hubbard model. In the case of quarter filling, we show the uniqueness of the ground state with a fixed magnetization. The ground states with these structures are degenerated with the all-spin-up and all-spin-down states. This property...
